We first discussed the sale of our home towards the end of the buying season. Van provided us with a detailed list of recommended paint colors, light fixtures, and carpet swatches. He also personally introduced us to the contractors he trusted to do the work. When we could not be home during the day to meet with the contractors, his “wing woman,” Manning, stepped in for us. Manning also staged our home beautifully for the listing. When peak season came back around, Van was very specific about the best time to list. He was thoughtful and strategic in his recommendation of our listing price, and walked us through his rationale and expected outcome. Van’s suggestions resulted in multiple offers within hours of listing, resulting in a final accepted offer significantly above list price.

The search for our new home was very narrow, in one of the area’s most competitive neighborhoods. Van was always responsive, flexible, and available. With each property we saw, he provided insight on any changes necessary, estimated cost to do so, and if the potential return on investment made sense. His knowledge of area neighborhoods, schools, and expected growth helped us navigate through the overwhelming search. Van also helped us with the very difficult decision to walk away from a property after a home inspection. When we finally found our home, Van came through with his Rolodex of experts. Van helped us find an amazing lender, talented handyman and wonderful attorney. Once again, his guidance made the negotiation and purchase stress-free. We are settled in and loving our neighbors and home.
