I knew two things the first time Van and I met in January of 2008. First, that Van was going to be a fantastic real estate agent. And second, that I would love to be part of helping to make that happen. We connected immediately. We had both been Morehead Scholars at UNC-Chapel Hill; we both were continuing to compete at a world level in our chosen sports (Van swims and I show horses); and we both shared a passion for making a difference in people’s lives. I continue to be amazed and proud of the job that Van does. He has redefined how to market homes. He always has new ideas on how to approach getting the best for his clients. And he is always so willing to share with his colleagues. For Van to achieve his level of success while also balancing his busy family life is truly impressive. I can’t wait to see what the next 9 years will bring and look forward to the continued partnership.
